The Out Islands of The Bahamas are some of the most beautiful in the world. The white sand and turquoise water make you feel as if you discovered paradise. Even though these locations have been experiencing a surge of tourism in recent years, thanks in part to Exuma’s famous swimming pigs, getting there isn’t always easy.
Luckily, getting to Exuma and Eleuthera is going to be a little easier. Silver Airways recently announced they have added a pair of year-round flights to the islands of Great Exuma and Eleuthera.
Silver Airways recently acquired Puerto-Rico based Seaborne Airlines, making this company a new power player in Caribbean aviation. Silver Airlines is a Fort Lauderdale based airline, and this latest purchase means they are now poised to serve the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Florida.
Silver Airways currently operates a number of nonstop flights across The Bahamas. The current destinations they fly to is Bimini, Freeport, Great Exuma, Marsh Harbour, Nassau, Treasure Cay, and two locations in Eleuthera, Governor’s Harbour and North Eleuthera.
These new additional year-round flights to Exuma and Eleuthera can only further boost tourism in the area. Getting to these locations isn’t always easy, but the more flights added the better.
