While it certainly appears that the Fyre Festival is going to happen, the event has already had its fair share of problems.

People who arrived on Great Exuma today have yet to receive their lodging. People have reported that they were ushered to a local beach bar and supplied with alcohol. Not that they would have had anything to see if they had gone to their tents. Videos from locals show tents being destroyed by strong winds. Matresses were laid on the sand, right next to the road, completely exposed to the weather and elements.

Just recently an attendee reported that all remaining flights on Thursday from Miami to Exuma were being canceled until further notice. The claim was that it was due to weather but people aren’t buying it.

More updates coming soon.

I just saw the FyreFest plane take off 10 minutes ago, so are we sure that story is true?

So far this is the update we have from the Miami airport. Since around noon they said all flights cancelled until further notice. Someone said they may resume at 9PM.

Update: Planes have since landed in Miami, but are turning around empty to go back to Exuma to take festival goers home. No further flights are taking guests to Exuma.
